Prized is a light-hearted story of four animals in a faraway land who struggle to love a part of themselves because it made them feel different. In this poignant story, the animals help each other to embrace what they perceive as “flaws” and in the end, find that in a world of comparison and competition, that themselves are worthy to be prized.

Written by Erica Fable, illustrated by Erin Hung, and made in collaboration with Hong Kong Dignity Institute for the aid of Silaiwali, an India-based NGO to relief of Afghan refugees.

Paper Parties was my debut title published with Pavilion Books in London.

Paper Parties was born out of my love affair with paper as a medium and her passion for celebrations that are bursting with fun. Gone are the days when ‘papercrafts’ conjure up images of shabby-chic scrapbooks and heaps of unnecessary embellishment. These projects can be modern, stunning and relevant, through a unique format that combines the beauty of an inspirational, illustrated coffee table book, with the simplicity of a practical craft manual.
